Awake. A strange smell invades my nose. I open my eyes. I can not see anything around me. Just a strong light which makes me blind.

Little by little my eyes get used to that light.

Far away from me, a strange shadow comes out from the fog and approaches. I don't know where I am. I just remember going to bed late last night. I was dead tired and dragged myself to bed while I let Morpheus take me.

The shadow turns into a blond hair man with strange look. He looks afraid…like me. He seats down by my side.

- Hi, how are you doing?

- Hi, where am I?... I feel confused… I dont know how I came here.

- You are nowhere. And you still have to reach the place where you are going to be.

- I understand nothing. I am nowhere…?

- No. Last night, while you were sleeping, you left, you died. Your first life expired.

- I am dead…? I don´t believe you.

- Calm down. You will …soon. Now you must pay attention to me. I will explain everything to you.

The place where we are now is not really a place, its a temporary stage to a new life. Its our souls that found each other.

When a live being dies, its essence sets free and goes into a another live being. This facts goes on and again seven times, and after that, all of us become part of Nature. It's the circle or life: Seven lives and the same end for everybody.

Nature welcome us and becomes either stronger or weaker with our essence. If its good, if the soul has lived the seven lives respectfully, its essence will enrich the fields and will bring good harvest. Otherwise, if the soul has not lived in harmony with Nature and its values, its essence will bring bad things for everybody.

Only under this temporary stage can two souls find each other.

Its been long since my sixth life expired. So far my soul has been waiting for you. Only when just one life remains, we can choose our destiny. I made my choice and decided to meet you.

- And why did you choose me?

- Because you chose me some years ago.

- Did I choose you? Who are you?

- Yes, you did, you helped me, you fed me, you protected me from cold winter and hot summer. I was happy by your side and now I want to spend my last life by your side. But this time I will take care of you and will be taken care of.

- I dont know who you are. What is your name?

- My name is Sonse… Do you remember me now?

  Sonse, which means Sun, that was the name my wife and me chose, for one of the cats we share part of our life with.
